Rescue From Flea Bites

varieties of fleas are present all over the
world. Flea bites are the most universal and
dangerous insect bites experienced by human
being and their pets.
There are four stages in a flea lifecycle:
first stage is egg, second is larvae, than
pupae and last stage is adult, in which they
start reproducing blood. Fleas like to live
in dusty areas and mostly lay their eggs in
the corners, cracks, crevices, warm animal
beds, on animals, parks. Fleas are the most
parasitic and blood-sucking insects.
There are varieties of fleas from which you
can be bitten; the most common fleas are the
dog fleas, cat fleas and human fleas. A flea
easily gets attached to your clothes and pets
body and can easily find their place to reproduce.
These fleas bite with their tiny proboscis
(antenna). Sometimes these fleas can be very
dangerous as they release and transmit number
of disease on the body which can be really
annoying.
FAD (Flea allergy dermatitis) the most common
allergy caused by the flea bites. Flea saliva
contains aromatic compounds, fluorescent material,
amino acid, phosphorous, polypeptide. Flea
bites can be cured by using different creams,
but better options is to keep your pets and
home clean. Some general diseases that are
transmitted by a flea bite are typhus, bubonic,
francisella tularemia.
· Typhus is basically caused due to
the transmission by fleas, lice, and mites.
It results in headache, and itchy red rashes.
· Bubonic can be transmitted from person
to person and can cause vomiting, diarrhea.
· Francisella tularemia causes irregular
fever, swelling
However, some precautions can be taken to
get rid of flea bites such as:
· Avoid taking your pets on the bed
who likes to jumps on the bed, as they can
drop some fleas on to your bed which can cause
you itchiness or just simply dry-clean your
bedding as frequently as possible.
· While going out try wearing socks,
don’t move bare foot because mostly
fleas live on the floor and they generally
bite on the legs and ankles.
· And as soon as you find out that
you have been bitten by a flea apply lotion,
delaying it can further increase your problem
and could get scars on the attacked area.
· Applying ice on the affected area
relaxes the bitten area.
Hence, if the above said precautions are taken
properly, we are sure that you can remain
away from flea bites.
